Air-conditioning units in colour
A white air-con unit stands out on a dark or warm wall. These indoor units were given a new colour, in warm brown and in dark green, so they blend into the interior.
Air-con indoor units come in white as standard. On a dark, coloured or wooden wall, that is often the first thing you notice. More and more clients and installers therefore ask us to lacquer the plastic housing in a different colour.
The housing is cleaned and lightly sanded, given an adhesion primer for plastics and then a 2K PU topcoat in the desired colour. The unit becomes part of the interior instead of a white patch on the wall.
