Who is responsible?

Which data do we process?

We only process the data you enter yourself in our quote or contact form:

• name, email address, phone number, postcode and town;
• for businesses: company name and VAT number;
• the description of your project, your choices (colour, gloss, timing) and the photos or files you attach;
• technical data needed to block spam (via Cloudflare Turnstile) and to keep the website secure.

What do we use them for?

We do not use your data for advertising and never sell it.

• to answer your question and prepare a quote (at your request, before any contract);
• to carry out the job if you accept the quote;
• to protect our website and forms against abuse (legitimate interest).

Who gets to see your data?

Only Lakkerij Amber. For technical processing we rely on a few processors, with whom we have agreements on confidentiality and security:

• Cloudflare (website hosting, security and Turnstile spam check);
• Resend (delivery of the emails generated by your form).

Transfers outside the EU

Some processors may process data outside the European Economic Area. This only happens with appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

How long do we keep them?

Requests that do not lead to a job are deleted no later than two years after the last contact. Customer data is kept as long as needed for the job and as long as the law requires, for example for accounting.

Cookies

This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies and uses no social media trackers. We do not show embedded third-party maps or videos. When you send a form, Cloudflare Turnstile may use strictly necessary technical data to check that you are human. No consent is needed for this.

Your rights

You can always access, correct or erase your data, restrict or object to its processing, and request a copy in a common format. Just email info@lakkerijamber.be. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (www.dataprotectionauthority.be).

Use of this website

The texts and photos on this website are the property of Lakkerij Amber unless stated otherwise. They may not be reused without permission. On-screen colours are an approximation of the real shade.
