Olive-green radiators for bistrobar Brouss

A full set of panel radiators, yellowed after years of service, got a second life in RAL 6003 olive green with a matt finish. The finishing touch to a thorough interior renovation.

After

During the renovation of bistrobar Brouss in Tildonk, the interior was given a thorough overhaul. The existing panel radiators still worked perfectly, but their original cream lacquer had yellowed and no longer matched the new colour palette.

Instead of replacing everything, the radiators came to our workshop. They were degreased and sanded, given an adhesion primer and then topcoated in the spray booth in RAL 6003 olive green. That way the lacquer reaches deep between the fins as well.

The matt finish gives a calm, velvety look that pairs beautifully with wood and linen. What used to be an unremarkable yellowish-white element is now a deliberate splash of colour.

“Our radiators got a second life in a beautiful olive green with a matt finish. They now fit the new interior perfectly.”

A white air-con unit stands out on a dark or warm wall. These indoor units were given a new colour, in warm brown and in dark green, so they blend into the interior.
